AIRAA’s scoring algorithm is designed to highlight genuine contributors and filter out noise. The goal of our algorithm is to understand who is actually contributing, what kind of content drives momentum, and whether the activity is natural or farmed.
While our internal systems are complex, the main idea is simple:
Be human, be helpful, be consistent.
The overall algorithm can be broken in 3 parts:
- Twitter Contributions
- Discord Contributions
- Onchain Multipliers
Aura = (Twitter Contribution + Discord Contribution) * Onchain Multiplier
Every campaign has its own settings so no parameter has a fixed weight. Projects choose what they value most.
1. Twitter Contributions: Quality over Quantity
Airaa looks at your daily activity on X and evaluates it across a few natural signals.
Quality & Accuracy
Airaa checks whether the content is well written and the information is accurate. The algorithm prioritizes insightful threads over generic ”GM” posts. For example, a thoughtful thread about why a project stands out is worth more than generic praise.
Relevance:
Airaa checks the context and whether the tweet talks about the project in a meaningful way.
- Good: Tagging
Project AandProject Bbecause they just announced a partnership. - Bad: Tagging 10 random projects in a single tweet just to get visibility. This is flagged as spam.
Originality
Inspiration is great but plagiarism is not. Airaa’s algorithm checks for similarity percentages across tweets. If a user is just copy-pasting a popular thread, they won't score.
Note:
Each project sets minimum fixed thresholds for the above mentioned three parameters.
Posts that do not meet those baseline standards are not evaluated any further, ensuring that only meaningful contributions are considered.
Smart Engagement
Airaa calculates a Smart Engagement Score that focuses on real interaction rather from influential accounts (including project members, founders, known figures and established KOLs) than vanity metrics. It looks at:
- Replies
- Quote Tweets
- Retweets
- Who is engaging with you
It also checks for suspicious spikes, artificial boosts, and coordinated engagement patterns. This keeps the system fair and prevents engineered engagement rings from gaining points.
Streaks
If you naturally post about your favourite projects over multiple days, Airaa acknowledges that consistency. The longer you keep the streak going, the stronger your multiplier becomes (up to 1.5x).
Normalization
Airaa normalizes scores to level the playing field so that micro influencer with high quality and accurate insights has good chance as a larger KOL to rank on the leaderboard.
Personality & Behavior Checks
Content Variance Multiplier (CVM)
CVM checks whether you create diverse content and not only repetitive InfoFi farming posts across campaigns on Airaa and other platforms.
Airaa encourages a normal variety such as market views, art, opinions, memes or anything you usually share. This does not penalize genuine creators. It only ensures there is a healthy balance beyond ongoing InfoFi campaigns.
What Holistic Posting Looks Like
Human Signal Multiplier (HSM)
HSM checks posting patterns to detect automation and burst posting. It looks at timing and frequency to see if activity is natural or automated.
Engagement Integrity Multiplier (EIM)
EIM identifies artificially boosted or farmed engagement. It checks for coordinated groups repeatedly engaging to inflate impressions or other suspicious patterns.
Each multiplier (CVM, HSM and EIM) ranges from 0 - 1 and is recalculated weekly.
This allows creators to recover through genuine activity while preventing automated behaviour from slipping through once.
Your final X contribution consists of:
- Quality of post
- Relevance to project tagged
- Originality of the content
- Accuracy of the information
- Smart engagement
- Streak multipliers
- Multipliers like CVM, HSM, EIM
TL;DR
What not to do
- Spamming posts
- Posting irrelevant content or tagging unrelated projects
- Copy pasted threads
- Bursty bot like activity
- Using NSFW or irrelevant channels just to boost impressions
- Coordinated comment rings
- Misleading or incorrect information
What Helps
- Honest and original writing
- Speaking naturally about projects you care about
- Sharing insights or personal opinions rather than surface level descriptions
- Having balanced content across your feed
- Engaging meaningfully with the community
- Helping others and being active in a normal human way
Discord Contributions
Community contribution is about vibes, not volume.
- Be Helpful: Answering a newbie’s question is worth more than saying "GM" 50 times.
- Be Normal: Communicate, share feedback, and hang out.
- The Red Flags: Spamming unrelated channels is a net negative. It won't help you; it will actively hurt your score.
Onchain Multipliers
These are project specific.
Some campaigns may reward deposits, staking, liquidity actions, NFT ownership, or other onchain interactions. Each project decides how strong these multipliers are.
Additional Human Checks
We have also added a report option for the community. A report does not lower anyone’s score directly. It simply prompts us to manually review outlier cases. It adds a human layer on top of the algorithm.
